Heading up to Glasgow for the day and wondered if people could point me in the direction of some of the best bars for a good beer. I have In Deep on the list along with Brew Dog but apart from that I'm clueless. Any help from fellow beer snobs would be great.

There was a pub recommendation thread a little while back. It may be worth checking that as I think Glasgow was mentioned :)

Blackfriars.
Munro's.
Three Judges.
Bon Accord.

Best pubs in Glasgow, with the best beer. You'll love blackfriars bottle fridge. Munros does awesome keg/cask beers.

When you here? I'll go for a pint.

Blackfriars is a good shout. Next to merchant city.

Ad Lib (33 Ingram Street) for a good burger. Less than 5 mins walk from Blackfriars and you can get a pint of Williams Bros Joker in it.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Having one in Blackfriars now as we can't check in to the hotel yet, will give ad lib a try next. Will head to Munroes a bit later. Will keep an eye out for you Ahleckz.

Worst invite ever! :(

Don't take it personally mate, it was me and the gf's anniversary so probably not the best time. I'm going back up in August and would be more than happy to hook up for a few beers if you're about.

The highlights of the day were Inn Deep on the Great Western Road. Something like £2.70 for a pint of Williams Brothers beer was great, as was being able to sit by the river. Bon Accord was nice as was Ad Lib (great basket of fish).

Walked in to the Three Judges but wasn't that up for staying. Pretty sure I have been there before too.

I enjoyed Blackfriars but expected there to be a bigger range of bottles, think we're maybe a little spoiled in Newcastle now when it comes to bottles.

Brewdog was OK, nice glass of Alice but nothing different from any other Brewdog.

Ended the night with a curry in Shenaz (amongst the best I've ever had) and a walk back to the Millenium Hotel (dump).
