Parts i am set on (unless persuaded by your comemnts) are:

Antec One Case
Corsair AX 650W
Corsair Vengeance 8GB
Crucial M4 128GB (although i am unsure because i don't know how to update the firmware)

Cannot pick a mobo the main three i have been looking at are, Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H, Asus P8Z77-V Pro and the Asus P8Z77-V Deluxe.

The main GPU i am leaning toward is the Asus Radeon HD 7850 DirectCU II because of the 2GB memory.

The main CPU is the i5 3570K but i considering the 3770K

I will only be using a single monitor for moderate gaming (two at times to browse and watch movies) and general use. I obviously want it to be future proof for next three years ideally.

DVD DRIVE AND STORAGE NOT IMPORTANT.

As its for gaming stick with a i5 3570K and overclock it :)

The M4 firmware is easy to update, simple instructions on Crucials website - a new one should be up to date though.

Does £800 need to include DVD drive/HDDs or do you already have them?

Nope, I don't have them as they are not essential and can be purchased at a later date.

You don't need 650W for a 7850, and that corsair is very expensive. This 550W is plenty for a 7850 (probably two).

I know the PSU expensive but it is fully modular so i will have more airflow and it is backed by a 7 year warranty. Not only that there is no AX 550 haha.

Also why have you picked that RAM over the Vengeance?
