22" LG WTQ is a very nice monitor, i recommend it for the insanely low price tag and quality, you get a little bit of back light bleeding but i can honestly say it doesnt bother me.

22" is probably too big, I'd rather have a quality 20".

The Samsung SM206 is £211.49, which is only just over your budget. You could certainly do a lot worse than 1 of those. Very happy with mine.
