What I have:

SB audigy 2 sound card
2 SATA Hard drives
2 IDE hard drives
Pioneer 111d DVDRW IDE
FX5200 GFX card
FX6200 GFX card

What I would like:

Motherboard (PCIe)
Case (with 120mm fans)
PSU
CPU
Dual DVI graphics card
3 PCI slots minimum
2GB RAM

The only games I will be playing are starcraft and starcraft 2 :p

I have 2 monitors and a TV that I connect to via DVI, hence the dual DVI preference.

I'd like good "bang for buck" components.

Before I start can I double check that PCI GFX cards will work fine in PCI-X motherboards?
Do you actually mean PCI-X motherboard? You do realise PCI-X is a server technology, a 64-bit PCI slot.

If you actually mean PCIe, then no a regular PCI card of any description won't work in a PCIe slot, but most PCIe motherboards come with 1 or 2 "real" PCI slots also. Which the card will work fine in.

Edit: I need 4 PCI slots on the CPU if that's possible

No, that certainly isn't possible, CPU's don't have expansion slots :p

Aye, was half asleep while writing that, let me rewrite the entire OP.

Edit: Done, hope that's clearer :)

I'm really not sure on the motherboard, could anyone confirm that's it's a solid choice?

Edit: Could anyone recommend a cooler and SATA DVDRW too?

As far as I know, that motherboard is a fair overclocker.

Cooler: Noctua, Tuniq Tower, or the Thermalright Ultra.
SATA DVDRW: I like my 20x20 Samsung.

I would get a cheaper case and put what you save towards a 320mb 8800GTS or similar (Lian Li PC7 maybe), as for DVD-rw the Samsungs are pretty good.

I don't need graphics at all though, my 6800GT does well enough for my needs. I'll pick up a sammy burner though, thanks :)

Get the E6750 CPU, the board supports it and its cheaper!

I was told:

"[It's cheaper] because its one of the newer 1333fsb chips which means that its actually a slower core compared to the e6600 (thatll run at 3 GHz at 1333mhz fsb)"

I should be able to get the 6600 to 3Ghz at 1333fsb (1333/4 * 9) without touching the RAM, no?
