Hi guys,

So Haswell has been released and I get to upgrade from my Phenom II. I'm a little lost with all the choice of motherboards/PSU what to get.

Can anyone help me to put together an i5 and i7 set up, I'm guessing it would be the same bundle, just i5/i7 differing?

I need the following

-CPU i5/i7
-Motherboard (Looking to keep cost down if possible, but it does need to be able to support 2x 7950)
-PSU (Again this needs to support the set up with 2x 7950)

Thank you for any help you can give me.

Edit - This PSU looks like a good option, would it be fine to power the 2x 7950?

Good time to upgrade,

The i5 will be spot on, Stulids selection is great.

I would also add a CPU cooler, though the depends on what budget you have left and case size. :)

Will the psu come with connectors to power two 7950?

- Fixed FDD: 1
- Fixed Peripheral: 7
- Fixed 6+2-pin PCI-E: 2
- Fixed 6-pin PCI-E: 2

- Fixed ATX12V / EPS12V: One 4+4-pin
- Fixed Motherboard Connector: 20+4 Pin
- Fixed SATA: up to 11

Yes it does, as each card needs a 6 pin and an 8 pin. :)

What about this motherboard for i5 and two 7950, since it comes with a free cpu cooler?

It only supports Xfire x16/x4, which is slower than x8/x8 which the other motherboard offers. :)
