Spec me ... headset for work. PC and iPhone

Hi All

Can anyone recommend to me a decent bluetooth headset for teleconferencing?

I need to be able to quickly switch between laptop and iPhone connection, because I usually use the laptop but it occasionally messes with the audio and I have to quickly switch to phone. I can never remember what the quick-switch technology is called - multipoint bluetooth?

Noise cancelling isn't a must, as I'm in a home office so it's fairly quiet anyway. But a good mike so I can be heard clearly.

Both ears - I'm not a fan of headsets with only a single earpiece.

And if someone out there has discovered a cheapo no-name one which is actually decent, not costing much would help with me convincing work to pay for it!

Good question, and I haven't the faintest yet. I have raised a question with work about whether they will fund, and if so how much.
If they won't, then as cheap as possible! :D
 
Thanks for the suggestions people.

I've been generally thinking it must be something with a boom mic to put it near your mouth. It seems hard to believe that something with the mic by your ear will be as good. But is that incorrect, am I jumping to an unsafe conclusion?
