Hi guys, Just doing a spec me for a friend of mine :).

I wanted to get other opinions than my own and you lovely forumites are great and rallying up and providing basket lists :p.

The build needs to be White and black - Air Cooled (AIO Watercooler).

Corsair Air 540 Preff -
780 Ti
I7 4770K

These are the three core parts at the moment.

I will need a screen keyboard and windows aswell.

Budget £2500 MAX - If possible try to keep it to around £2000 please?

My friend would rather his bum not get too fiddled.

I like that build Stulid.

Is there any real reason to go with 2011 over Haswell at the moment now however?

I am of the opinion that you wont see an extreme diff in performance.

Well with such a large budget it seems silly not to go all out and get the top end platform?

I suppose so, I was just wondering what the benefits of the 2011 socket I7s over the Haswell I7s are.

Not sure if the cpu will get utilised to the point that paying £400 for the cpu is worth it.

If it were me I would go straight water but hes not comfortable with that yet.

X79 supports more than two way SLI (you need one of those expensive Z87 with a PLX chip to do this) BF4 scales well with extra cores maybe more games will in the future too?

I think you're better spending less..

You don't need a Hex-core CPU.

This would be spot on:
