I made some Kansas style ribs the other night. The recipe called for hot sauce, I used Encona West Indian Hot Pepper Sauce but it gave an undesirable vinegary tang. Could anyone suggest either a hot sauce with a less dominant vinegary taste or an alternative to hot sauce? I was thinking about trying chili jam as Kansas style BBQ is all about complexity of sweetness and heat. So I figure it'd kill two birds with one stone.

I'm not really looking for heat alone, thanks for the suggestions though. As the BBQ sauce in question has numerous other sources of heat, I'm looking more for fruity complexity from the hot sauce which is why I went for the West Indian style.

I have tried this, and it is insanely hot, but not that vinegary, if you do go for this, do just add a couple of drops, as its way hotter than encona
edit,
i done a BBQ yesterday, and i tried these ribs from Primal grill, they were easily the best i have ever tasted :D.
i didn't use his mop sauce, i just used cider and bbq sauce mixed.
