Hey guys, so im looking for a new processor after buying my new GFX card - im getting limited pretty heavily.

Now i know the new IVY bridge will be out in a few months - but im sure i wont lose out that much?

Could you spec me a i5 (i think the 2500k seems to be the best choice).

Im not too bothered about SLI, i dont mind if its ATX / mATX. I would like 4 ramm slots though!

I would like to overclock the i5 to at least 4.5GHz so i would prob need an aftermarket cooler (i have one on my amd atm thats suppose to fit an i5 2500k)

I would want to keep it under £300 if possible.

Are all your drives (including optical) SATA?

You need RAM also? do you have a 32 or 64bit OS?

Your RAM is low-profile to fit under the heatsink?
 
Thank you very much for your response. My ramm is low profile! So do you think it is worth waiting for IVY bridge?

Also do you think that motherboard will be up to being overclocked at 4.5GHz+? Some people mentioned 4.8GHz is fairly easy to achieve.
