Looking to build a mini atx 1080x1920 Capable (Cheap)

Would like to go along the mini ITX lines for portability.

I'm going to be putting one together myself from ocuk but thought I'd start the thread off as I've never done a Mini ATX and hopefully get some of advice and opinions.

HDMI should be fine to use for 1080p :)

This will be bought tomorrow!

I'll update the post with my setup shortly

idea would be £250 (not sure if possible)

max of £500 would like to keep it cheap

We have a monitor, keyboard, mouse and the OS

We don't have any old parts for use in this build

The other thing to specify is what you need/don't need - namely

Monitor
Operating System
Keyboard/Mouse

And normally specify if you have any other re-usable items (PSU/case/HDD/optical drive being common ones) but it sounds like you don't have those.

So wait, you want it to be able to run 1920x1080 but you won't be gaming on it at all?

no games at all its more about the HD aspect of it with the use of graphics.

feel free to prove to me that I won't need it but this is what I've been asked for.

Are you using software that takes advantage of GPU's, because otherwise, there isn't much point going for a trinity CPU. You could do quite well with a Pentium and an SSD instead.

Or swap the SSD for a normal HDD.

If you need HDMI, go for this board instead:

Don't forget that that case includes a PSU, so it works out quite cheap. Also it is incredibly portable.

ah that makes sence now. think i my change the ssd for a hdd as I don't think the performance will change that much for what we are using it for.
