Spec me mobo+ram+CPU

Getting fed up with the cold boot problems I'm having with my dual sata 2 mobo.

At the moment I'm running on the spec in my sig, would like to upgrade to AM2 but only have about £150 to spare.

I'll be looking to upgrade to a quad core when the prices fall so right now a dual core same or better then what I'm running now will be great.

My advice, move to Intel and you will have a much better choice of much better quads in a couple of months than you do/will with AMD.
This spec here will overclock nicely and also very easily aswell, the board and the core 2 cpu's are prooven and tested as great products with loads of overclocking and performance potential.
You cant go wrong in my eyes.

Thanks for your suggestion, but I'm really wanting to go down the AMD route.

I've never had an intel machine, and would like to stick to AMD.

Is your GFX card agp or pci-e?

Edit - assume its pci-e from the forum title. I'm a muppet.

I am in a similar situation, upgrading to a 4200x2 but having the expense of a new gfx card. I'm sticking with a 939 board at the moment, then when i save up some cash, can go the quad route.
