Spec me: motorised time lapse mount

I was hoping to get some suggestions for a motorised time lapse mount I can use with either a dslr or Gopro.

Radian seems ideal for my needs, gutted I missed that on Kickstater.

Your end creation may not be pretty but I can't imagine it would be too difficult to make something that does the job cheaply. Off the top of my head you could look into getting an old belt drive turntable and cannibalising it and using the telescope motor drive to attach the turntable belt to. Came across something similar on the net, I don't mind making something myself but its just the time to do the darn thing.

Beaten like a ginger step child, after DJ_Switch's post I googled diy mounts and came across this video

and found Ikea selling the egg timer for £5.75, bloody bargain! Take me couple of mins to setup too. OCUK to the rescue again

Great product but at nearly £750 it's way over my budget. its something I'd like to save for in the future.
