Hi

I'm looking to building my second computer, I will be using it for home video editing, light use of after effects and some gaming. budget is around £1000. I have a monitor, win7, keyboard and mouse already.

Which graphics would be better the:

MSI 560 or MSI ATI Radeon HD 6950 ?

6950 but the Ti version of the GTX 560 isnt that far behind

I went for the XFX 6950 XXX at £180 but it is so close in performance to the 560Ti it really is personal preference.

6950 generally performs slightly better in most games, but the 560Ti performs significantly better for a few select games. Look at Anandtech bench to compare.

I would say "is Z68 board needed?" but it's reasonably priced so it doesn't really matter.

If you want modular 750w from OCuk then I think you will have to play a little extra, for somthing like:

thats non-modular, i think only the AX/HX series are modular

You can remove the cables which you don't need, hence less clutter in your case.
