Hey Guys,

I'm thinking now is a time to upgrade my old PC.

Right Now i got

AMD Phenom II
Asus M4A78
4Gig DDR2 Ram
ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series Gfx

Now i was thinking of getting a prebuilt system

Then buying a GFX card for it as i don't need a PSU or case but not sure

I've got £500 to spend though would like it cheap as possible. Prefer to go Intel this time since i've always had AMD and fancy a change lol

I've got a 120GB Kingston SSD so don't need another though a decent drive for storage would be sweet.

i got some crap case which i'm cool with and a OCZ ModXStream Pro 600w Silent SLI Certified Modular Power Supply.

Only gonna be used for gaming, WoW, League Of Legends, Day Z SA few others, and i use dual monitors aswell so gfx needs to be good.

Thanks

reuse your case, psu, optical drive, ssd +/- heatsink

i know it's a non-oc build, but you get a radeon 290. a worthwhile tradeoff imo
you get £30 off the gpu with this code at checkout: XFX290PROMO

ps: do you need an os too?

Not sure I would want to use a 4+ year old PSU with such a powerful GFX card, especially when the OP is only playing simple stuff.

if i don't have a HDD will i get better performance for my money ?

Yes you can,
