spec me overclock (£1200)

i origionally posted this is the general section but as im intending on overclocking i though it may be better in here

ok i have £1200 to spend on a base unit that i will be seriously overclocking (never overclocked in my life), i need:

CPU, M/BOARD, RAM, GFX, HDD, CASE, PSU & COOLING, i intend on going with a AMD (obviously) and a DFI board. i would prefer water cooling but its not a must. i am a major gamer so am only interested in machines that are stable

what would that be capable of prime-stable, also wouldnt a Ultra-D be more suitable as im not getting a Nvidia card and am not intending on going crossfire (and a saving of £25-30)

why a opti, i hear they are good overclockers but wouldnt a X2 be just as good

running at a overclock of 2.6.... whats that gunna do to the life expectancy of the machine
