Spec me please

Hi,

A friend is over in Dubai atm and asked if I wanted anything I am thinking of asking her to pick me up a monitor...

Considering their prices are slightly cheaper I wondered if you experts could spec me a tft for around £150 - £200?

Also would they work here in the UK??

don;t see why they wouldn't work over here, but might well need a different power cord. As far as £200 spec goes, it's hard to say since i dont know what they have out there. The Samsung 913N, Acer 1916W and Neovo F419 are all popular ~£200 monitors over here at the moment and all very good. See if you can get an idea of what models are available, perhaps Samsung and Viewsonic might be easy enough to find over there as they are well known.

Dubai plugs are the same as the UK. Same with Bahrain too

To be honest usually the cost of equipment is not that different from there to here. I had a quick look at stuff and it seemed just as expensive..

when I bought my digi cam out there I saved £100

which viewsonic, what are the dimensions?

all i meant was see if you can get an indication of which models are available out there, with Samsung and Viewsonic perhaps being good bets
