Ok, gone for this mobo as with an opty should clock very well (same mobo I use and also the one OCuk used in their OC special ) has good options and excellent sound. Gone G.Skill for low cas ram, you can run it on a divider if needs be. X1900XT go's without saying 
. Gone for a BigT cooler, Lian Li Case ( which is an excellent case ), Tagan PSU which are excellent. Also put an aftermarket cooler on the X1900XT.
Overall this should give you an excellent, quiet, nicely clockable performance system.

Why splash £1700 when you're 6 weeks away from Conroe, Vista on the horizon with DX10 etc etc. I know theres always new kit coming out but, Conroe will be worth the wait from what we have seen already. Expect a raft of products to launch in the next month.
Its your money but.......patience will pay dividends, not least of which will be a plummet in prices on current architecture. You can afford a couple of £100 nights out and still get the same kit in a few weeks time. Prices are dropping through the floor already as we have seen in the last few days with AMD slashing prices. Overclockers Uk have got perfectly decent 3700 sannys at £111 so expect more to come as they are pretty damn competative.
