Need to make a new PC for next door, they have £300 to spend no more!

Will just be used for internet and word processing, maybe the odd game for the kids (wouldn't be much as there only about 7years old!)

need every thing apart from monitor, mouse and keyboard as they can come from the old pc.

I was thinking Amd 2.5Ghz socket 939?, 1Gb of ram? and 200 - 250 hard drive?

What you all think? some quick specs would be great thanks.

mishima's specification looks good although you could get the Antec NSK4400 case with 380w PSU and be within budget since it isn't a very demanding system.

Was tryin to look for that case but couldnt see it, then I just looked up the model number you gave and its silver - I was sure it was black!! So no wonder I couldnt find it. I would go with that case to save a tenner and less watts on the PSU. 450W would be un-needed.
