Hi. Looking to build a gaming rig. I already have monitor and OS.

I also have a Core™2 Quad Processor Q8400 that i would like to use.

Thanks for that. Anyone got an opinion on RJC's build? Look good?. Will be ordering all the parts tomorrow night after work.

What day do the new deals normally appear? Would it be worth checking again tomorrow evening?

Overclockers do daily deals which start at 8-9 in the morning and This Week only gets updated Wednesday mid morning.

Edit: updated spec with some today only deals, I am not a fan of OCZ memory.

I am such an idiot, received all my parts today and just returned from picking up my processor from a family member, Well i have just realised that i haven't ordered a fan/heatsink for the processor.

So my question is what would be a good budget fan/heatsink?, would prefer not to spend too much as i am already over my budget. Thanks

very happy with it so far. it is absolutely silent. i can't tell the difference between fan speed of 30% and 70%. I have managed to oc my Phenom ii 965 be to 4ghz with it too.
I would recommend it for a budget gaming rig.
