Need a PC, mainly for gaming, including everything except windows 7. Budget is £650 but I can stretch to £700, though would rather not.

A bigger screen is better and a Xbox controller very handy....
 
as someone who bought an xbox controller i can tell you the only useful thing about it is being able to use the xbox microphone. mouse + keyboard is best for the majority of games, and for the few that you would have thought it was better (driving games) its often not properly supported

good quality motherboard (the gigabyte one is pretty badly made according to reviews)

nice case with a window, good airflow and room for a decent air cooler if you upgrade to the i5 2500k

WAY better mouse + keyboard
 
thanks a lot for that, as I already have Dirt 3 on steam, could I sell the code that comes with the graphics card or is it locked to the graphics card?
