Spec me please.

Im looking at building a new computer as my main one is nearly 4 years old. Although it has served me well. The upgrade bug is itching

Im looking at future proofing this as well. Main use would be gaming at 1080P but may upgrade the monitor later

I have about £1000 (but any less would be a bonus)

This will be for the main system

CPU
Ram
new case A full tower (obviously personal preference say £120)
Motherboard
Psu
and water cooler heat-sink

I have a 64GB SSD, multiple hard drives, Bluray drive and OS (from this comp)

I also have a GTX 480 which i will stick in for the time being and upgrade it the month after.

Any help apreaciated

H110 is the same as the H100i, just using 140mm fans, obviously the RAD is bigger to compensate for this.

The motherboard is a great all round, but not worth getting if your not looking to SLI. THIS would be the one to get if SLI/xFire is not what your looking at.

The PSU will cope with SLI/xFire just fine, again 550 will be fine if your not looking to SLI/xFire.

Case is great, they are really well recommended. You could also look at Corsair & CoolerMaster.

Thanks mate thats much cheaper than i thought. Its not really worth going i7 still for gaming is it?

Will defo be looking at SLI

The Intel i7 is only good for hyperthreading but for gaming the Intel i5 3570K will do

If you are only gaming, the only difference is hyper-threading. While currently there are no games which will utilise this feature, there is no guarantee it wont change for future releases.

Thr i5 is perfect for gaming..

If your looking at SLI, Its worth looking at the Z77x motherboards. UD3H would be my choice.
