okay mate has asked for a price for the above. he needs a pc for motion graphics, animation 2d and 3d modelling.

can you spec me a better pc than the above please for around £1000/£1200

For starts you have specified an overclockers processor (K variant) but a non/mild overclocking motherboard. It would work but would be a waste!

As is the RAM, too expensive and for overclocking. Would ditch the SSHD too and replace with an SSD.

And would that cut it well for what he needs? Won't need a cade as I have a decent one he can have. Is the Haswell better than the one I put in?

It should cut it, the haswell has more cores than the 7700K 6 vs 4 (12 vs 8 threads), the motherboard is a bit wider than standard ATX, does your case accept eATX?

I also think SSHDs suck, either get a normal HDD or get a proper SSD.

Youve picked Win10 on disk rather than the USB stick option, thus meaning you would need a DVD drive.

Your last spec looks good. The only thing I would say is that with that spec you're already using all available RAM slots, and with the kind of suggested use for that machine it might be a good idea to just get 32GB DDR4-2400 from the start.
You might also have issues actually finding a 5820K, but the 6800K is more widely available and is about £30 more (maybe less).

The i7 5820K is readily available.
