hi guys. I have posted a few times on here and I am getting frustrated lol. so many things to choose from etc so I choose something and then I end up not buying it because I am an idiot lol.
I have a budget of £1200. how ever the cheaper the better but at the same time I want the best for my money. I don't want to spend say, £600 on a full system just to upgrade multiple things in a years time. then again I don't want to spend £1200 just because I added an extra item that I didn't really need. any help would be appreciated. in my current pc I have a gtx strix 960 oc. I realise that this is an old card, however I would be more than happy to use it if I could play the new games, such as call of duty ww11, BF1 and assassins creed and just upgrade it in a year or so. ideally I would like a pre built machine as it saves me having to stumble through the process and risk destroying it lol. however I can build it myself but unless I can transfer my current windows 10 to the new machine I would need to buy windows 10.

the pc will be for pure gaming. my current pc is around 8 years old, so nothing will be any good to use for the new build apart from the gtx 960. I have a benq led sensaye 3 monitor. I am happy with this so a monitor will not be required. I realise there are better monitors for £100 - £200 most probably but its part of a budget I do not need to waste it on. I do prefer intel, but if there are better cpus out there for the money I would welcome them with open arms.

also, a SSD is not a must for me, unless it would clearly improve the performance of games FPS I would be happy with just a standard HDD or SSHD. as I can wait that extra 10 secs :p I hope I have covered everything.

thanks for reading.

change the power supply to a 500w, that was my bad, didnt realise i had put a 400 in.. add a 120 gig ssd and ya good to go :)

The ryzen 5 comes with a cooler, it also has thermal compound already applied to it.

Cant go wrong with Ryzen, I had the 1300x along with the motherboard and RAM you've chose and the performance was unbelievable, The 1600 is an ideal CPU for your budget, you'll love it
