spec me pls good value tv card

For freeview and does anybody know if there is a freeview reception in the Stoke-on-Trent area?
I went down to the local Currys and all they could tell me was that there is a good likelihood-not a definate. Obviously I wouldn't like to get the recommended gear if there is no reception-thank you

What will i need to get freeview or anything on my monitor at a good reception?

guys i live in telford and i have freeview on my puter. to do this i had to buy a digital loft aireal and a digi signal booster to get any sort of picture. but with these things i did get most channells including setanta. most digi recievers will work with the proper signal booster.

Should be fine, but you may need a new loft aerial. There is a postcode checker on the freeview site that tells you what your signal strength will be like, and what type of aerial you might need. Some TV cards need a decent reception (the pinnicle ones) and so are more sensative (Nova Ts)
