[Spec me plz] Video editor for XP

Hi,

Im after a video editor for XP. Nothing fancy just wanna cut the adverts out of my video clips.

Could anyone recommend me a simple program, preferably free?

just googled blender and its a 3d animation tool, am i looking at the wrong one?

virtualdub

lets you cut things out without re-encoding, perfect for your needs

or you could re-encode as xvid after cutting


find a guide for it, it's one of the best tools i've ever used, it's just so vast
