Spec me ram £50

Best ram I can buy for £50?

Must be DDR3 and at least 8GB. Only have 2 slots to work with also

What cpu heastink are you using as the ram below has a slightly larger heatsink attached:

i3 3220, not sure what heatsink is on there :S

That will be the default Intel one which is low profile.

The first set of ram will fit fine, only issue you might have if you go with a large heatsink in the future.

Thoughts on this? I can always add another 8GB later down the line to make 16GB instead of having 2x4GB sticks taking up both Ram slots?

Personally I would stick with dual channel, either 8gb or 16gb.

8 gb is plenty for most users.
