Spec me RAM please :)

Hey guys,

I have a i5 750 and a MSI P55-GD80 and am after 8gb of RAM for it

Will be overclocking as much as possible, and after something new from OcUK as I want to buy today

A very good option is this G.Skill with Samsung ICs. These have tight timings at their rated speed, should be possible to run them at good timings at whatever frequency you end up using for your max OC.

A cheaper option would be to grab one of the last in-stock sets of this TeamGroup RAM. Given you're on an i5 750 this is almost certainly the better choice as the performance difference is not huge, but if it were my money I'd probably get G.Skill.

Did you buy back then? I clicked the wrong G.Skill last time by mistake! Meant to link the C10 not the C9 previously, wondered why on returning to this thread the price difference was greater than I remembered. If you got the C9 stuff it's cracking RAM so no worries, just perhaps not worth the extra over this kit (sorry!! )
