Spec me: set of Knives and Pots & pans

Hi all I wont dribble on, so here :

Need some good kitchen knives and some good Pots & pan set (or something).

Have about £80 to spend on either one or both.

Let me see ur suggestions

Daaaaayyyuuummmm you lot have some expensive tastes. I will have to look into these links a lil later when I'm not so busy with work.

But looks like I'll have to discuss whether its best to fork out the extra, or just build up my collection with bits and bobs that I need first.

Cheers for all of the help guys, I've now purchased a few knives to start my collection and after New Years I can order a few pots and pans that have been suggested in this thread. I'm hoping they are so much better than these cheap IKEA ones I've got at the moment!
