Spec me some acoustic strings.

So I've played electrics for most of my guitar playing years, picked up an acoustic six months ago and the strings are starting to get a bit dull. I've had acoustics in the past but always just picked up whatever was cheapest.

Anyone recommend a decent brand/type?

I've used Martin 80/20 bronze mediums on mine for who knows how many years now.

Some strings can sound great on some guitars and not on others.

I used to use Martin mediums but I find for a bit extra the D'Addario EXP12's offer a brighter tone and last longer.

Strings are generally personal preference but you can't go wrong with Martin, D'Addario or Ernie Ball at a push.

Well aware of the personal preference with strings, tried all sorts until I settled on D'Adarrio 10s for electric. Will take a look at the ones above and pick a few up and try them out as they ware out. Thanks for the answers!
