Hi Guys!.

Need your help with this one. I've a antec 1200 case which has it's basic stock cooling system, everything's on full. As you will all know the antec 1200 has two extra 120x25mm fan slots that can be attached to the case.

I've had cooling issues with and i7 overclocked to 3.6 ghz recently and need to upgrade my cooling in the case, i just really dont know what to go for. I'm willing to spend £200.00 or so and dont really trust myself with water cooling - i also dont care about how loud my machine will sound :). Thanks two one of the Don's here i've already made my mind up on a Prolimatech Megahalem cooler with an akasa apache fan, but if YOU were in my situation, what would YOU buy for your case (any cooling gizmo's, gadgets, fans.. etc etc)?

Ill be going to overclockers tommorow afternoon to purchase the goods :).

My spec:

core i7 920
2xgeforce 260 gtx
6 gig ddr3
biostar t power x58 motherboard
antec 1200 case
akasa 1000w psu

Nope, id say the megahalems with the apache push/pull will be marginally better than the H50. But obviousl will cost you some extra money. I assume your running the stock intel cooler so either of these two options will give a considerable improvment when it comes to cooling.

Other than changing out the stock fans for some better ones, perhapse more apache blacksother than that i doubt there is much more that can be done to help :)
