I managed to lose my front bike headlight :( Bounced off my bike and went under a truck which crushed it :o

I need both to be honest, front(white) and rear (red) lights in these dark evenings cycling home.

I want ones that are cheap enough as I have to leave then on my bike so I want ok lights that nobody would think on stealing.

10-20 quid is my limit

I've been using these for a while. Nothing too special, but cheap and easy to attatch to the bike. Going to upgrade to something much bigger though as I go mountain biking in the dark more often now.

Bear in mind that most things in that price range are "I want to be seen" lights rather than "I want to see things" lights.

Are you happy enough with them? Are they bright enough to make yourself visible enough?

For cycling on the road they're fine. They have several strobe modes as well as constant which is nice. They're bright enough for drivers etc. to see you.

Unlit paths and trails are another story, these don't really give off enough light to make them suitable for mountain biking, hence why I'm upgrading them. That's not to say they're bad though - it's unreasonable to expect a £15 set of lights to illuminate a trail.
