Man of Honour
Can somebody help me to choose some decent brake pads that will last a lot longer please.
I had my most recent bike in September but after 50 miles of riding a week I ended up having to buy these on November 8th - www.disturbinthepeace.co.uk/pics3/vbrakepads.jpg
Since that date I've had another 50 miles a week except for over a month where I've used another bike and these new ones are now nearly down to metal.
I do use a lot of braking on my commute, it isn't a straight road but lots of different areas where I get up to speed and then have to slow down so it isn't like a Sunday morning ride where I might use brakes a couple of times.
So what do you suggest please?
I don't mind paying that bit extra to save money.
I've seen brake pads where you just change the pad itself which can work out cheaper.
