Spec me some Calendar events!

Hello all,

New gear arriving at the beginning of May. I'm booked for the 24th and 25th for the 'pod and drag racing.

Basically just looking for events going on that will make a good picture (for example that balloon event somebody posted). I have a car and willing to travel.

Any ideas? Anything motorsport is good, random festivals are always cool...

Northampton has a yearly balloon festival a bit later on in the year, see here

Superbikes - Brands Hatch : April 12th-13th

Superbikes - Oulton Park : 3rd-5th May

British GP : July 4th - 6th

Goodwood Festival of Speed : Juy 11th - 13th

Farnborough Airshow - July 18th-20th

Silverstone Formula 1 testing : 24th - 26th June
RNAS - 5th July
RIAT - 12th-13th July

Oh, and the Bristol Balloon Fiesta is 7th-10th August

northampton balloon festival they started charging last year 16 and over , but also the didnt light the sky with the ballons like they usually do on the 2 days i was up there anyhow. they plan to continue charging entry it was a great success they said, every single other person complained at gate ..

also add moto gp to that weekend june 22 race day, also day of champs on the thursday is £10 entry and you can get a lot closer to the mgp bikes in pit lane etc possibly meet some stars on walkaround or see there lovely motorhomes.
