Hi all, I need some girlfriend friendly games

Criteria:

Has to be compatible with xbox controllers (as in first person shooters aren't a great idea)

better if purchasable from steam or origin



she likes a lot of bubble based games where you get lines of color and they dissolve sort of thing so a two player version of those would be cool (think super bub for ps one if you ever played that)

was thinking of buying a worms pack maybe

Don't waste your time... Accept that your mrs will never ever love computer games, and has only thrown you the casual gaming olive branch to get a few minutes of peace.
 
There is a left 4 dead 2 mod that you can run split screen. It's great, but can't remember what it's called or how to do it!?! A quick google search will show you the way. Also street fighter 4 is ok.

But as someone said, Lego games are great too. Got my mrs into them for a while. But we argued a bit because she can't jump onto ledges and I got frustrated. She would then get all menstrual when I said "let me do it" after her 20th attempt. Comical really. And they always seem to get carried away collecting the coins Rather than help solve the puzzles. It's like trying to teach a dog tricks...

Lego games!

The Mrs is 94.8% into Lego Lord of the Rings (huge fan of the books/films, hence the choice) and loving it.

Other popular choices have been Costume Quest (single player but play it together) and of course the classic Bomberman.
