I'm a bald **** whose long standing (10 years) clippers have finally given up the ghost and gone to the barber shop in the sky.

Any fellow baldies got recomendations for some decent clippers? Budget maybe £20+ (£30 tops) Would like cordless but not fussy. I don't use the guards, down to the bone for me, so attachments etc not important.

I have been using a pair of argos £4.99 clippers for the last two years. Done me no wrong.

But those ones in the post two above look awesome!!

Bit over budget but babalyst beard trimmers are what I've been using for the last 4 years.

They cut closed and are sharper.

I've always had my hair down to the wood and they can't be beaten.

They look proper modern metrosexual! Do they go to zero without any guards, ie right to bone fully skinhead? I don't want a crewcut :)

Yep,
Haven't tried it yet.

It's funny open the box and a ton of guards, right all them in the bin, they aren't needed.

Thread a few days old now but I bought a 'Wahl Home Cut' set about 15 year ago, used them once a month - very good, I think any of the well known makes, Remmington, Wahl, Phillips will do a good job for around £20

It surprises me how many different models their is for brands, all do the say thing it's abit mad lol.
