Not too pricey - £20 to £30 or perhaps you know of something cheaper that are decent.
Main use is waterproof so don't have to be for winter.
They don't have to have holes in the bottom for cleats because I'm never going to put cleats on again.
If I wear size 8 trainers do I buy size 8 overshoes?

Thanks

I dont know of any overshoes which are intended for use with flat pedals. I would guess either they'll get ripped to bits by the pins on the pedals or you'll keep slipping off because you dont have any grip on the pedal.

I have tried putting my normal overshoes (with cleat holes) over trainers. The soles are much wider than you get on cycling shoes so you'd need to go up several sizes to get something which fits over trainers.

You might find something non cycling-related? When you look around a new house you get little overshoes to wear to keep their carpets clean. Also some swimming pools give you waterproof overshoes if you want to walk around in your outdoor shoes.

If using trainers I'd get a size bigger. My size 10 overshoes are a perfect fit on my size 10 road shoes but a size too small for my shimano spd touring shoes which are essentially trainers with a recessed cleat.

Bbs do decent ones in that price range, not insulated a but nice tough waterproof material.

This isn't important, it's just that after 3.5 years I've learned that my pedalling style is no different with or without cleats but the advantage is that I have to stop about every 100 yards so not being in cleats is useful.
