Spec me some detailing products.

Hi guys,
I'm an amateur detailer at best and as such I have just 'got by' with the following...

Wash:
Lambswool mit
2 buckets
Dodo Juice Sour Power or AG Body Shampoo

BH Regular Clay

Polish/minor correction:
AG SRP Or Megs #83

Collinite 476s

along with an array of microfibres and waffle weave towels.

Wheels are taken care of with Valet pro's Bilberry Cleaner.

My new car is an Electric Blue Mini Cooper S visually identical to this

It has the usual swirls and stonechips etc but my aim is to clean up what I have, I'm in the market for a good usable hand polish with fillers like the SRP but I like to try new products. Also I want a nice glaze/sealer that will sit well under a few coats of Collinite 476. I need something for the tyres and plastics too, not too glossy but a good sheen would be sweet!

Overall durability is key, hence why I'm such a fan of the 476

What might you recommend? I'm thinking along the lines of Chemical Guys Glosswork Glaze and Poorboys Natural Cleaner.

Recent bought and used the following to remove some scatches...

Farecla G3 Scratch Remover (paste)
Farecla G3 Applicator Waffle Pads (1 black applicator pad / 1 white compound pad)

over all an excellent product, for minimizing / removing scratches that are not fingernail deep. just remember to mist your pad with water before and during rubbing

I used Farecla on my Beetle after wet sanding a new paint job on a rotary to good effect, it's certainly one for consideration. Thanks for your input

AF Revive for the exterior plastic trim, brings the trim back to new and lasts a good few months before needing doing again. Use it on my Cooper S.

Look at the Auto finesse range.

Satin for wheels
Tripple for polish which is better than SRP.

My mini is the same colour, but with black roof and silver wheels
Stick with AG wax over 476 is lasts longer, there is a review on DW and 476 was not that good.

and as Jon said use AF on plastic trim

I'd suggest C2V3 instead of AG or 476s wax. Easy spray on and wipe off application, deep gloss, some filling/masking abilities, 8 months durability and only £8 for 100ml.
