Right, After i went and watched a game of my Old team on the weekend i think the bug has bitten again:o

I stopped playing after under 17s due to Destroyed legs from years of playing and a little bit of lack interest to keep playing.
But now after not playing for ages and watching how crap the current strikers are in the team the bug has bitten and all i wanted to do is get out there and play.
All i need now is a Pair of Boots and Some shin Guard Sleeves.

So please recomend some good boots to me :D

And if anyone knows of anyone that makes Shin guard sleeves, please let me know that too :) (Come with nike shin guards)

If its any help, Im a Striker and have normally worn Nike :)

Price wise would be around $150-$200 AUD but any Suggestions would be good

I'd recommend buying them in a shop, even if it does cost a bit extra. Getting football boots that fit properly is so important.

Thats the plan for now, But was curious about that site :)

If io were to buy some online id find my size in the shop first :o

Thanks. So im guessing Nike is top dog these days with soccer boots?

Also has anyone ordered off of http://www.prodirectsoccer.com ? The prices on there there crap all over Australian Price and thats including the shipping

I buy all my goalkeeper gloves from there, they have good delivery and good customer service. Had to send a few pairs back due to not fitting and they swap them no issues.

I bought my last pair of boots from there also. Went to JJB to try them on for size then ordered from there for a £20 saving. Go for it..

I had a pair of these for about 6 years http://www.prodirectsoccer.com/prodinfo.asp?PID=PDS-002-001-005&DEPT=2&BRAND=1&SS=1&PROFILE=Speed

Recently moved on to the newer ones http://www.prodirectsoccer.com/prodinfo.asp?PID=PDS-002-001-167&DEPT=2&BRAND=1

The first ones were probably better though and I might get those the next time I buy some :)

I only say the new ones fall apart easily as I have 3 or 4 friends who have bought the newer, fancy ones and none of them were in playable condition after a year or so. Could easily be an unlucky batch or dodgy glue etc. though

Being in Australia I would assume searching for football boots would provide lightly different results to soccer boots :p

Nah, no one makes boots for Australian Football. Although they might get advertised for it, They mainly are just the ones we use for soccer from what ive seen:D

Edit: Just seen the price for the New Adidas Adizeros F50s and im shocked:eek:
Ill defiantly be waiting to try a pair of these on when they get released.
Especially since i have a 30% discount at a local sport store too:D

Get black boots.

Anyone wearing coloured boots, unless extremely talented, deserves to be singled out for 'special treatment'.

You can keep your plastic colour by numbers boots. These may look meh but they are probably some of the best boots around

If you want something more modern. Then surely Adidas Predators are always a safe bet or the Puma speedcats

Have to agree. I think it's hilarious when someone goes and buys the best football boots available in bright yellow but they absolutley suck at football :p

Those vapours i've linked to at the top really are an excellent boot though. Extremely light aswell so I reckon if your a pacey player, they'd be perfect for you.

Arnt they the special Carbon Fibre ones that cost an arm and a leg?

Although i do know there are other Vapours on the market. Its just hard finding ones which arnt Bright purple yellow or green!

Yeah but I think they can be picked up for around £100 here which should be in your budget I think?
