The Witcher if you are into RPG games
Orange Box if you like HL2 (one of this years best online games TF2) also includes Portal (very good game(s) to get)
Call of Duty 4 (This years best FPS in my opinion)

I'd say Crysis and World in Conflict are the best two games of the year.

Dirt also another option if you like racers.

World in Conflict is dreadfully shallow don't go near it.
