Spec me some h4 bulbs

Needing some upgraded lighting for the taxi shed

H4 fitment and I'm not going for an hid conversion as it does not have projectors

What's the best lighting bulbs I can get for it and can I go 100w without any problems ?

I have the H7's with what look like blue side light bulbs but they're clear when on.

Is the above link ok, as its not an item that ocuk sell?

I had some Ring Xenon Ultima in my car recently and one just blew. Just replaced them with Osram cool blue intense that come with a two year replacement warranty.

100W is generally accepted as a bad idea, double the current (nearly) might cause wiring problems and the things are too bright anyway.

The Philips ones are great, as are Osram Nightbreaker Plus bulbs.

I ran 100w high beam bulbs in my Mondeo for 3 years without any problems. I certainly wouldn't run them where they're used for dipped/main lights though as I'd be worried about them overheating.

I had good results with Ring Xenon Ultima, think they are a +120% bulb and not that expensive either.

I had night breakers and thought they were a bit pap. Plus they both blew within months.
Got some ring xenon ultra jobbies at the moment. Not amazing but certainly one of the best bulbs on offer.

People on CTRO tend to suggest the Phillips blue max ultra bulbs as posted above.

will leave it till the taxis all registered and plated first though
