I'm looking for some small portable headsets to use with my laptop and I'm wondering if theres a way to combine some of the sets I have and improve on them. The uses and equipment I have are:

- Voice calls on my work iPhone and personal Android phone, which I currently use the bundled iPhone earphones for as I need to be able to hear my own voice.
- Music listening on my Android phone and on my Laptop, which I currently use a set of in ear earphones with the silicone round ends that blocks out most outside noise.
- Skype calls on my Laptop which I use the iPhone earphones for, again because I need to hear my own voice.
- Laptop gaming with Teamspeak for which I currently have no headphones.

The iPhone earbuds are terrible but I use them because they don't block out my own voice which is needed for conversations. I'd like to find a better solution to those and if possible combine it with something I can use for gaming and Teamspeak that's also small and portable. If not, what 2 devices can I get to fulfill the need?

Wireless for the gaming headset would be ideal, but not a nessesity.

Supra-aural (outside of ear but not closed cup, so you can hear your own voice) like the Logitech H600 wireless. The voice on this comes through very nicely, unlike the G930 wireless which is better for music but can make farty sounds etc with the mic on. The G930 is Circum-aural (closed cup) anyway.

Th H600 looks good, but it uses a 2.4Ghz Nano Reciever and isn't compatible with the existing Nano I have in my laptop from my M560 mouse. I don't have a spare USB port for it so thats a no go.

The H800 looks good, but its considerably more expensive.

The H800 is available for £60 from Amazon. Searching Currys there are lots of other headsets of that style available for under that. Can anyone recommend any? Solid and tough (they will be tossed in a laptop bag regularly) over the ear headphones that are ideally foldable in some way, offer decent sound for gaming and movies but also have a mic and don't block out all sound so I can hear myself speaking.

Well after lots of Googling I went for a set of Jabra REVO Wireless headphones, as they should be £200 but they were on Amazon for £75.

I've taken the SIM from my iPhone and put it in the second SIM slot in my OnePlus X, and got the Jabra's connected to both my phone and my laptop over Bluetooth. That means that I've not got one set of headphones that does Skype calls, music, gaming and movies on my Laptop, and music and phone calls on my work and personal numbers.

Sound seems perfectly fine so far (better than anything I'm currently using) and they are pretty comfortable. Being on ear they do make my ears sting a little after a few hours, but I won't be using them all day anyway.

just in case anyone was interested.
