Spec me some high CFm fans!

Scythe Kaze Jyuni 1200RPM Slip Stream 120mm Fan

Air volume at full speed (12V), CFM ±10% : 68.5
Noise level at full speed (12V), dB(A) : 24.0
Fan speed at full speed (12V), RPM ±10% : 1200

I've just bought three for my triple rad :)

those are 38mm so thicker than the normal 25mm but should be ok, tbh i can remember the size of the whole range but is definatly worth looking at the whole range rather than just the bog standard one you can buy in the UK

how thick are the dlets? will i be able to mount onto my rad using a normal size screws for like a normal 120mm fan?

Silly question really but why do you think you need such a high cfm and high noise fan?

My double rad is perfectly fine with 4 xilence fans running at 7v on a push/pull basis.

Granted the extra cfm of the Deltas might drop my temps by a degree but swapping my rad to a thermochill and keeping my fans would have a bigger benefit temps wise.

The whole point of watercooling is better cooling than air with silence......or it is IMO.

these deltas are to sit on my black ice 480 extreme!

noise isnt what i *** but comes with the package!

But you haven't answered my question? What makes you think you need 4 x 200 cfm fans?

You might drop temps by a degree but is it worth it to have four jet engines running next to you?

to be fair as long as you have some way to control the fan speed (use speedfan for mine) then the delta's arent loud at all.. have mine idling along at 800 RPM and they are silent my HD is certainly louder than the fans.. its just nice to have some power when you need it..

Am no expert on water cooling but from what I read you do gain little benefit of extra fan speed on the PA thermochil, not sure what sort of benefit you would get on a more dense rad though

the rad im using flourishes on high CFM fans! (i dont want incredible speeds, just incredible high cfm) so this is why i need them lol obviously they wont be full blast all the time, thats what fan contollers are for!

also they will blast nice cool air throughout the case too

but yea power when needed lol
