Hi this is Shimy's friend. can ne1 tell me what type of car subwoofers i should get for a vauxhall corsa. Something that aint too big and aint too expensive. i also need a matching amplifier to. Im not sure what the power is of my current speakers and subs but if it helps they are the ones that came with the car when it was new.

The situation is that he wants Sub woofers but he doesnt know what to get (neither do i) his currently got 4 or so standard speakers on his cars and he wants another 2 or 1 speaker which is the bass.

he wants you people to find him a reasonable priced subs and amp. around the price of 70 quid if thats possible.

So basically he wants a sub/amp/wiring kit. Does his HU have a pre-out?

If so, get this and ask for the 4 channel version of the amp (in case he wants to upgrade his speakers)

Cant knock JBL for the price, had a 12" in my boot for a while, definitely a nice sound per pound. But as ever, there are better things.

£70 for an amp and sub ? Auction site it might be for you!

For £70, you are probably best going for something like this, and hope you can get it cheap enough. They go for around £80-100.

I'll second JBL and Vibe. Well matched sub and amp for what really amounts to pennies, you won't beat them without spending a bit more.

JBL sounds like one everyone recomends, i will show him the link and see if he likes it. although it is slightly out of the price range :rolleyes:
