Yeh its becoming saturated now..

there needs to be a new shift.. and non of this new rave nonsense...

Bands with The in the name like said..

Or bands that dance by banging one leg on the ground with their arms over their heads messing up their already messy bed hair.. skinny jeans, t small t shirt..

We Are Scientists, for sure! very upbeat and sing-a-longy, give these a listen, Nobody Move, Nobody Get Hurt, It's A Hit!, The Great Escape and Inaction.

Arctic Monkeys are very Strokes-esque also. Pretty sure I don't need to recommend any of their songs : ), also their new album is very impressive.

You could try The Rapture too (you have to listen to Whoo! Alright-Yeah...Uh Huh :D!)

Maybe try the Klaxons also, their album was upbeat and I really like it, stand out tracks are Golden Skans, It's Not Over, As Above, So Below and Totem On The Timeline.

Not so upbeat, but still very good (my two favourite bands) are Bloc Party and Interpol, if you want to try some Bloc Party songs I recommend Helicopter, Banquet, The Prayer, Hunting For Witches, Like Eating Glass and Waiting For The 7.18. For Interpol you could try Slow Hands, Narc, Obstacle 1 (very good song.) and their new one The Heinrich Maneuver.

Again, upbeat, are Hot Hot Heat, a fun band with a lot of catchy songs, try Bandages, Talk To Me, Dance With Me, Middle Of Nowhere.

OK! Good Luck :D

Juicebox is ****.

Have you got The Strokes - Is this it? Try Interpol, Wolf Parade and Kings of Leon.

We Are Scientists for sure. Cracking album (With love and squalor) had it for ages and listen to it all the time.

I quite like Good Shoes album, give them a blast.

The Subways, The Rifles, The Rakes, Mumm-Raa, Hot Club De-Paris, Futureheads, Libertines.

I love Arcade fire, give them a bash, first album is easier to get into (funeral) than their second (Neon Bible)

the go! team (:D), arcade fire, libertines (1st album), kings of leon, interpol, pavement (terror twilight to start with), Maximo park you'd probably really like!

CSS, The Automatic, Ash, Idlewild - Make Another World (critically slammed, but I recommend it, and it fits the bill)

The Rakes are pretty Strokesesque. Then in the same vein - The Vines, White Stripes, The Hives etc etc
