my sisters fiancee wants me to improve his computer.
he doesn't want to spend too much and wants to keep his hard drives.
he also doesn't really game so i figured to save on costs may as well keep his radeon 9200.
therefore im thinking a new mobo, with agp and 2 ide slots for his gfx and hdd's.
new processor, pretty low end he doesn't need all that much speed, and some new ram, again doesn't have to be blistering fast.

are there any agp boards left for sale?
if so what stuff would you guys recommend?
don't really wanna go over £140-150

cheers

You could try some of this stuff. You might not need the PSU, but not knowing what you have its best to be safe

Why not go IGP? OnBoard GFX nowadays is way better than the 9200 (not blistering performance, but can handle new-features like Vista's Aero/glass, etc)...
  • Foxconn 6150M2MA-KRS2H Micro ATX (Socket AM2) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard £31.99
  • AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4000+ 2.10GHz (Socket AM2) - Retail £37.99
  • GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC2-6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel Kit (GX22GB6400UDC) £23.99
  • Sub Total : £93.97

Hope current PSU will be up-to-it i.e. minimum 350W, 24-pin connector, etc?
