I need some case fans that respond well to voltage control
- 140mm, standard thickness (25mm?) nothing with a stupid frame that wont fit where they should
- low voltage performance is number 1 priority. 350 RPM on voltage control would be grand.
- It would be nice if they could do 1000 RPM at full voltage, but I would definitely rather sacrifice the top RPM range over the low RPM range, 700 RPM would be fine if thats all I can do.
- A fan that doesn't make annoying noises when undervolted to the low RPM range.
- note, will be driven from an aquero 5, so I can give them a start boost.
- note 2, will only be installed front and back, so they wont be installed up top, I know some fans dont like that.
- it would be nice if they didnt cost the earth. I mean, they are just case fans, I already spent too much on radiator fans lol.
This is because I've recently watercooled my PC, and everything is amazing apart from the corsair AF140s I'm using as case fans are stupid loud when controlled by voltage at the lowest RPM they can do. It completely ruins everything I've achieved
I've currently got them to not turn on until the ambient / water delta hits 6c, but its really annoying when they kick in, and its inefficient and just generally stupid to spend all the time and money on watercooling, and doing that.
Thanks
