Spec me some lowish spec games

I'm off to India for a few months with work, and will only have a laptop with me. Unfortunately it will be a company laptop, and therefore I imagine fairly low spec. Hopefully I'll be able to get a Core 2 processor and at least 2GB of RAM, but I can't see the GPU being anything better than an Intel integrated lark. With the Steam sale being on, now seems to be the time to pick up a few games to tide me over.

I assume that Civ 4 will work on those specs? Can you suggest me some other games? Any genre aside from racing...

Holy cow, I go away for a few days and get a tonne of responses - cheers for the suggestions all

Obviously have got Football Manager sorted, and am hoping I'll be able to run Civ 4 on low. Bought the 2004 version of Sid Meier's Pirates in the Steam sales so I'll have a bash with that, and have BG&E sitting in a box still to play as well. I'm also hoping that Trine will run, and managed to pick up KOTOR II on the cheap. Looks like I'm all set
