I need a/some new games for my PC to keep me occupied over christmas, other than WoW :)

my spec is below (laptop, so its nothing fantastic!)

Intel M 2.26 GHz processor
2GB RAM
ATI Mobility Radeon X300
Windows XP Prof.

im into RTS - RPG - the occasional FPS but it has to have awesome gameplay and not Half Life! lol im fussy with FPS!
preferably playable online but i dont mind! :)

thanks!

Morrowind
Red Alert 2
Soldier of fortune 2 or raven shield for online fps
Your X300 should also be able to just about play Guild Wars aswell.

ive always thorugh about trying guild Wars, but theres so many different ones - looking at a website now! is there a pack where i can get Guild Wars + all expansions, if so whats ti called and ill go searching?

:)

Not sure, but on a very popular books, games, music, dvd etc website you can get Nightfall collectors edition for a tenner which is well worth it. Get Nightfall and Prophecies (the original)-very good games, Factions let the side down a little.

I have all 3, and i dont play them anymore but used to play them loooooads, and you raelly should play the original first, prophecies, not only is it the best one imo, it also is the most begginer friendly, the other 2 sort of assume you have completeled the first one and just throw you in it, and the difficulty goes up extremely quick, and your at level 20 in a few hours (well a bit exagerated, but you level to quickly and its not begginer friendly).

If you are interested in playing it, i reccomend picking up the original (propehices) and playing it, if you like it then pick up the others.

I am not sure if the Witcher would work on your rig but if it does you really should try it. RPG of the year for me without a doubt.

back active o nthe forums after stufifin my face with turkey and choccies for 3 days! :) thanks for all these, think im deffo gonna try Guild Wars, as advised just the first one to start with :)

ive looked at The Witcher, looks awesome! but again not sur eif it will work on my setup...
