There are some pretty cool acoustic beginner songs there and in the forums there are is a whole forum dedicated to easy songs.
A song I like that isn't there is Something is Sacred by the Eels just because there is a line in it "I wear newspapers for pants and a t-shirt that says damn I'm good". Consists of E, D & A predominantly with C and G in the chorus. Which are the first basic changes and C and G the first annoying one to learn.
I like Birds, Mr E's Beautiful Blues and Dead of Winter are also fun and easy to play. Just google them.
