Hey all

I'm thinking of updating some of my RAM.

My motherboard is currently a GA-K8N-SLi and I have 2x 1gb PC1600 (200 MHz) sticks of RAM in there.

I was thinking whether it was worth just sticking two more sticks of what I have in there already, or getting a brand new set of 4x 1gb sticks at PC3200 (as I understand that's all mine can take?)

Also, the question is, I'm running XP 32, is there any point going past 3gb? My graphics card is a 512MB 8800GT.

So if anyone has any idea, could they please post some links to some RAM I should get?

Sorry if this post is a bit vague, please ask if I need to clear anything up! :)

Thanks a lot! :D

Aren't four sticks said to be unstable on 32bit system ,if you buy new get 2X2gb sticks.

I had 2X1 sticks & added a 2gb stick making 4gb in total, it still ran in dual mode & showed 3.5 installed on my XP32, I am using Corsair Dominator 8500 & it's completely stable playing games with the odd mix of ram

I thought that my motherboard could only support 1gb sticks not 2gb? that's why I was talking about getting lots of 1gb stick :)

If you have 4x1 gb sticks its possible you will not be able to overclock as well. Not sure if you are going to be doing that though.
